    Surfaces in scope

    Exposed steel deck, structural beams, HVAC ductwork and sprinkler systems; concrete block and drywall walls; hollow metal doors, frames and railings; exposed basement concrete.

    Coating systems

    Spray-applied dry-fall coatings to all exposed overhead structure and mechanical services; specialized pre-catalyzed waterborne epoxy on wall surfaces; rust-inhibitive direct-to-metal primer and industrial DTM topcoats on hollow metal and railings.

    Outcome

    All 90,000 sq ft delivered within the construction schedule and turned over with the deficiency list closed out at first inspection. Product data, colour formulas and batch records handed to facilities for future maintenance.

    Surfaces in scope

    Full arena interior including exposed structural steel, beams and ceiling; rusted structural steel members; public areas and change rooms; exterior facade including steel soffits, railings and painted brick.

    Coating systems

    Specialty primer-top-bond system applied over failed existing paint to re-establish adhesion; rusted steel mechanically prepped to bright metal and recoated with rust-inhibitive DTM primer and topcoat; new pre-catalyzed epoxy throughout interior with sprayed beams and ceiling; exterior acrylic system on masonry and steel.

    Outcome

    Arena returned to the City ahead of the ice season with no re-coat required on previously failing substrates. The bond-primer approach avoided full blast removal and kept the project inside budget.

    Classroom, corridor and gymnasium walls and ceilings; hollow metal doors and frames; stair stringers, railings and bulkheads across multiple sites.

    Coating systems

    Repairs and patching followed by institutional-grade scrubbable acrylic and pre-catalyzed epoxy on walls; DTM primer and industrial enamel on all metal; block filler where CMU required it.

    Outcome

    All 25 sites completed inside summer and March break shutdown windows, with every school handed back before students returned. Colour and product records standardized across the district so board staff can touch up any site with matching material.

    Coating systems

    Chemical-resistant epoxy laboratory floor system over diamond-ground concrete; pre-catalyzed waterborne epoxy on walls and ceilings for disinfectant tolerance; dry-fall coating on exposed concrete ceiling, ducts and conduit; DTM primer and industrial topcoat on hollow metal.

    Outcome

    Completed inside an active hospital under infection-prevention-and-control protocols — ICRA barriers, negative-air HEPA filtration and tacky mats — with no disruption to adjacent clinical areas and no IPAC deficiencies recorded.
